Job summary

Global Software Solutions Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Senior Product Engineer to optimize FINIQ, .NET/C#, and SQL Server-based platforms in the Wealth & Asset Management domain.

You will lead platform and database optimization, implement automated testing and CI/CD, and explore AI-enhanced workflows using Node.js and modern APIs. The role requires hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on technical administration experience with FINIQ.
• Strong hands-on experience with FINIQ Core Application.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong skills in database design and T-SQL.
• Extensive experience with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and optimization.
• Strong proficiency in .NET / C#.
• Understanding of backend architecture and test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Node.js and AI technologies for automation.

Responsibilities

• Platform & FINIQ Application Management
• Manage, maintain, and optimize FINIQ core application environment.
• Provide hands-on technical administration and support for FINIQ-based platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production challenges.
• Ensure application stability, reliability, availability, and optimal performance.
• Analyze and resolve issues across application and database layers.
• Database Management & Development
• Design, develop, debug, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Write and tune complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Ensure database integrity, high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex SQL and database-related issues.
• .NET Application Development
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using .NET / C#.
• Develop scalable backend components and services using .NET and SQL Server.
• Apply strong backend architecture and software engineering principles.
• Integrate backend services with databases, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Support technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex bottlenecks.
• Test Automation & Engineering Quality
• Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks for validation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce manual testing.
• Work with test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Integrate automated testing into development and CI/CD workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
• CI/CD & DevOps
• Build, maintain, and improve reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and releases.
• Eliminate manual intervention through automation.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps to improve deployment efficiency.
• Process Innovation & AI Integration
• Review workflows to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Proactively implement improvements to processes.
• Leverage Node.js and .NET to integrate APIs and microservices.
• Apply AI technologies and LLM frameworks to automate processes.
• Identify opportunities for AI-assisted engineering and automation.
