Job summary

GSSTech Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on Application Developer & Support Engineer to own and optimize the FINIQ core platform. You will blend backend development, database engineering, and tier-2/3 production support.

Responsibilities include building backend services in .NET/C#, tuning MS SQL, designing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating APIs with Node.js; banking/finance domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in .NET/C# backend development.
• Strong MS SQL Server expertise and performance tuning.
• Experience with CI/CD and Node.js for APIs/microservices.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and tune MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Maintain database integrity, high availability, and performance.
• Build backend services using the .NET (C#) framework.
• Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks.
• Provide tier-2/3 production support for complex bottlenecks.
• Engineer CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Audit workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Integrate modern APIs and microservices using Node.js & .NET.
• Manage the FINIQ core application environment end-to-end.
