Job summary

GSS Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on Application Developer & Support Engineer to own and optimize our FINIQ core platform environment. This role blends backend development, database engineering, and tier-2/3 production support — ideal for someone who can both build and firefight.

Write, debug, and tune MS SQL queries; build backend services with .NET; design automated testing; and engineer CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments. Prior FINIQ/ core banking exposure is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of .NET/C# backend development experience required.
• Strong MS SQL Server know-how including tuning, procedures, and triggers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Build backend services using the .NET (C#) framework.
• Design and execute automated testing frameworks for validation.
• Engineer reliable CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Provide tier-2/3 production support and troubleshooting.
