A leading company in the UAE is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Financial Planning Controller in investment analysis and the development of financial models. You will ensure compliance with HSE standards while facilitating effective communication internally and externally. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and professional certifications alongside at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Job description

Job Purpose

To support the Financial Planning Controller in analyzing potential investments to ensure accurate information and the achievement of business plans based on set objectives and KPIs.

Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountability

  • Assist in analyzing potential investments: including companies and organizations independent of ENEC, to ensure the availability of all required financial information.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models: evaluate financing options and lenders’ models, including running scenarios and sensitivities.
  • Assess companies and potential investments: ensure accurate business plans regarding potential investors.
  • Analyze transaction processes in acquisitions: to ensure protection of ENEC's financial position.
  • Consolidate information: for the development of business plans linked with the budgeting process.
  • Monitor business performance: using KPIs to ensure objectives are met.
  • Facilitate communication: internally and externally to build mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Ensure HSE compliance: follow all relevant policies, processes, and procedures, and ensure safety and environmental standards are maintained.
