Senior Financial Institution Business Development

Contract Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Location: United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Institution Business Development professional to strengthen and expand the company s strategic partnerships with financial institutions primarily banks at both the local and international level.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with banks (local, regional, and global) to facilitate account openings and access to payment channels.
  • Identify, assess, and approach potential banking partners using deep knowledge of the financial services ecosystem.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial institutions, managing all aspects of communication and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Compliance, Risk Control, and Product to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to proactively suggest strategic directions and new opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership, outlining relationship status, opportunities, and risks.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a senior business development or relationship management role within a major local bank or a well-regarded payment service provider.
  • Expertise: In-depth understanding of the local financial and banking ecosystem, supported by a strong and active network of institutional contacts.
  • Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiation, strategic thinking, and managing high-level client relationships with professionalism and impact.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is essential; proficiency in Chinese is considered a strong advantage.
