For a finance business partner role for a fast-growing business in a dynamic team with the opportunity to make a true impact on the business, Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Finance Analyst (SFA) supporting the AWS Sales team in the Middle East & Africa areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join this successful business which is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Amazon. As an SFA, you will partner closely with business leaders and their teams providing strategic support by combining data and business judgement into insights generating operational and strategic guidance and impact. Further, you will drive innovation to improve our tools, processes, and business decisions.

This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modelling background, advanced Excel abilities, problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and project management skills. The role will be based in Dubai where a large part of the business partners is located.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Ownership of key reporting metrics (KPIs) and narratives to help business partners understand the business performance.
2. Partner with business teams to implement new processes & tools and drive the improvement of existing processes & tools.
3. Provide strategic support to key business initiatives and investment.
4. Present financial summary and business insights to senior management.
5. Drive short and long-term financial planning.
6. Maintain robust controls.

Required Experience

1. 4 years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
2. Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis.
3. Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
4. Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
5. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
6. MBA or CPA.
7. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
