Job summary

Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is required.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and regulatory compliance (UAE).
• Experience managing large budgets and driving cost-efficiency initiatives.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Experience in media, advertising, or related industries preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and ensure sustainable growth.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and provide accurate forecasts to the management team.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax regulations, and other financial laws.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the companys assets and profitability.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, mentoring and empowering them to achieve excellence.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control costs across the organization, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA is required.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and regulatory compliance in the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing large budgets and driving cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Background in media, advertising, or related industries is preferred but not mandatory.
