The firm operates across a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles and operating entities, requiring a finance leader capable of driving reporting excellence, consolidation, and control across the group.

The appointed individual will partner closely with the principals and investment leads, providing actionable insights while embedding rigor and governance across all financial operations.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on and strategically oriented finance leadership role within a lean and sophisticated private investment structure. The individual will oversee group-wide financial reporting, consolidation, compliance, and planning activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and decision-relevant financial insight.

Key Accountabilities

  • Full-cycle accounting oversight across multiple entities, including funds, holding companies, and operating businesses. Lead group consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management packs, statutory accounts, and performance analysis tailored for principals and senior stakeholders.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Develop financial models, operating budgets, and cash flow forecasts; track performance against plan and provide variance commentary.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations; liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to support audits and regulatory submissions.

Process & Infrastructure

  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, controls, and workflows; implement scalable processes aligned with the group’s evolving structure.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally within private equity, a family office, asset management, or investment holding environment.

Technical Competency

  • Proficient in IFRS, financial modeling, and reporting. Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, or mid-tier ERPs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.

Attributes
Detail-oriented, commercially astute, and comfortable operating in lean, high-accountability environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Incentives

The package will be structured in line with market benchmarks for similar roles in the region. Base salary, performance-linked bonus, and potential long-term incentives are available for exceptional candidates.

Note: While candidates currently operating at Finance Manager level will be considered, this opportunity is best suited to individuals ready to take full ownership of the finance function in a sophisticated private capital context.
