Overview

On behalf of our client — a discreet and sophisticated single-family office with active private equity and investment holdings — Metier Group has been exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to join their lean but high-performing leadership structure in Dubai.

The firm operates across a diverse and growing portfolio of investment vehicles, funds, and operating entities. This appointment will serve as a trusted finance partner to the principals, driving consolidation, reporting excellence, and financial governance at group level.

The Opportunity

This is a strategically hands-on role for a commercially sharp finance professional seeking full ownership in a dynamic and entrepreneurial investment context. You\'ll be embedded at the heart of the decision-making process, supporting the family office’s ambitions across its private capital platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle accounting and group consolidation across multiple entities
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly board-level reporting
  • Build financial models, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Manage budget planning, cashflow analysis, and variance tracking
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and regulatory filings
  • Partner with external advisors on audits, structuring, and tax planning
  • Identify and implement improvements across systems, workflows, and reporting tools
Candidate Profile

We are seeking an agile and technically sound finance professional with :

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience within a private equity-backed business, single-family office, investment platform, or similar
  • Strong grasp of IFRS, financial modelling, and consolidation across complex structures
  • Prior exposure to funds, SPVs, or cross-border investment vehicles
  • Proficiency with accounting tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred
  • A highly discreet and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable working directly with UHNW principals
Remuneration & Incentive
  • AED 20,000 – 25,000 per month
