Job summary

Sharjah Art Foundation seeks a senior finance leader to oversee accounting operations in Sharjah. You will guide budgeting, financial planning, internal controls, and risk management, ensuring accurate reporting and timely reconciliations while supporting strategic resource allocation.

The role requires 9+ years in finance with leadership experience, a Bachelor's and Master's in finance, and a professional certification (CA/CMA/CPA).

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional finance experience with at least 5 in leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional accounting certification (CA/CMA/CPA) required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; national service completed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and systems for accuracy and integrity.
• Lead budgeting, annual plans, and resource allocation.
• Review expenditures and monthly reconciliations with central finance.
• Prepare final accounts and financial reports with timely closure.
• Develop and implement internal finance methodologies for efficiency.
• Coordinate audits and respond to internal/external reviews.
