We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations, optimize cash flow management, and ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax laws in the Middle East. This role is critical in driving Pluto's financial strategy, improving financial reporting, and ensuring the scalability of our finance function as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee Pluto's financial operations, ensuring strong cash flow management, financial planning, and expense control.
2. Develop and implement financial models to analyze business performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive strategic decision-making.
3. Manage and optimize accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely collections, payments, and financial discipline.
4. Ensure full compliance with VAT, corporate tax laws, and regional financial regulations, managing accurate and timely tax filings.
5. Collaborate with bookkeepers and teams from non-UAE entities including KSA, USA, and others.
6. Lead, mentor, and scale the accounting and finance team, optimizing internal processes and maintaining high reporting standards.
7. Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing senior leadership with actionable insights to support growth and operational efficiency.
8. Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
9. Implement cost-saving strategies and optimize spending policies, supporting Pluto's vision of a more efficient finance stack for businesses.
10. Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring Pluto remains financially secure and compliant as we scale.
11. Oversee payroll and financial operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and policies.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial operations, optimize cash flow management, and ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax laws in the Middle East. This role is critical in driving Pluto's financial strategy, improving financial reporting, and ensuring the scalability of our finance function as we continue to grow.

Role Requirements

1. Strong experience working for a multi-national group holdings business across several jurisdictions
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred).
3. 5+ years of financial management experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or high-growth technology companies.
4. Deep understanding of Middle East VAT, corporate tax laws, and financial regulations, with hands-on experience in compliance and tax filings.
5. Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
6. Proven leadership experience in managing and scaling finance teams, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
7. Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and spend management tools (familiarity with Pluto is a plus!).
