Job Description: Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary: This position closely works with HAEMEA’s finance leadership to ensure robust financial governance and compliance with the newly established company. The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the overall organization’s financial operation, including analyzing and managing financial statements, overseeing detailed financial reporting, and managing day-to-day workflows efficiently.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Managing Finance section of the HAEMEA.
  2. Setting the overall financial affairs of the newly established company.
  3. Reporting line to CFO working in Frankfurt, Germany, and CEO working in Dubai.
  4. Preparation of the annual budget and business plan, conducting thorough financial analyses, and offering strategic recommendations to CFO and CEO.
  5. Strategically aligning business objectives, suggesting innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and bolster financial support.
  6. Preparation of financial closing, financial statements and management reporting.
  7. Possessing a solid understanding of recent VAT and corporate tax laws in the UAE.
  8. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local accounting/tax laws and regulations, while recommending and implementing best practices. This includes coordinating internal and external audits.
  9. Management of finance operations for cross-border transactions.
  10. Establishing and analyzing the fund balance plan.
  11. Controlling Treasury operations including fund deposit and withdrawal.
  12. Proactively monitoring cash and rolling cashflow requirements considering upcoming cash outflows & inflows.
  13. Preparing and presenting accurate Treasury-related management information.
  14. Ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Qualification:

  1. BA in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
  2. MA in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
  3. 6+ years of experience in Finance or related field.
  4. Solid knowledge of financial planning.
  5. Experience of working in a multinational organization with a multi-currency environment.
  6. Experience of setting up financial affairs for the NewCo.
  7. Experience of working in IT business preferred.
  8. Understanding of IT service industry.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office.
  10. [Required] Fluent in English / [Preferred] Intermediate in Korean, Arabic.

Working Conditions:

  1. Expected Date of Recruitment: 1 Mar 2025 / Negotiable.
  2. Salary: Salary depending on experience and skills.
  3. Term of the Contract: Permanent / (6 months of probation period).
  4. Working Hours: +40 hours per week.
  5. Annual leaves: 22 working days.
  6. Severance payment: As per UAE labor law.
  7. Insurance: Support.
  8. Visa: Support.
  9. Flight fee to home country: Support (a round-trip ticket once a year).
  10. Accompanying Family: Support (insurance for the accompanying family).
