Job description

This opportunity is with a large group with diversified businesses across multiple sectors. -Support the development and execution of budget plans in coordination with internal departments, ensuring alignment with corporate policies. -Liaise with department heads to gather data for annual budgets and monitor performance, including revisions or forecasts. -Prepare periodic and ad hoc management reports to assist leadership in cost control and performance monitoring. -Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted figures; provide insights and recommendations. -Assist in improving financial planning, budgeting, and reporting tools for greater accuracy and efficiency. -Analyze monthly operational and financial data to identify potential budget deviations and recommend adjustments. -Support development and enhancement of policies, processes, and templates related to budgeting and reporting. -Maintain and update financial models to ensure alignment with business realities. -Oversee Hyperion budgeting software usage; troubleshoot and liaise with technical teams for system issues. -Collaborate in upgrading MIS and budgeting systems for effective reporting and control mechanisms.

Education & Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance -Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA (preferred) Experience: -5+ years of relevant finance experience -Prior experience in real estate is highly desirable Technical Skills: -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced data analysis & modeling) -Strong understanding of MIS, Oracle, and budgeting software (e.g., Hyperion) -Solid experience in preparing financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow -Ability to handle complex ledger accounts and financial data sets
