The Senior Finance Director will oversee and manage all financial operations within the organization. This role will involve leading financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy to support the company's objectives and growth. The individual in this position will play a critical role in advising senior management, ensuring financial efficiency, and leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the finance department, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Develop financial strategies to align with the company's goals and objectives.
Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and the board of directors.
Manage the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing strategic insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Manage financial risk, ensuring effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
Oversee cash flow management, capital investment, and financing strategies.
Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations to optimize business performance.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and excellence.
Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions with financial data and analysis.
Oversee internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
High proficiency with financial software and tools, such as ERP systems and Excel.
