Confidential is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller in Abu Dhabi to lead the monthly and annual close across multiple entities. You will own the chart of accounts, balance sheet integrity, P&L analysis, and consolidation processes, ensuring timely statutory reporting in line with IFRS and local requirements.

You will manage management reporting, KPI analyses, and liaise with external auditors, driving audit deliverables and internal controls across a multi-entity environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification required: ACCA or CPA.
• Big Four audit experience is mandatory.
• 12 to 15+ years of progressive experience in audit, financial reporting and controllership; including 3 to 5 years in a Financial Controller or senior reporting role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage trial balance, balance sheet reviews, and P&L analysis by entity, division and project.
• Oversee consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and elimination of balances.
• Ensure statutory reporting in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Prepare management reporting, including actual vs budget and KPI commentary for senior management and Board.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors and manage audit planning and responses.

Job Brief:-

The Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity, Group’s financial reporting, leading the monthly and annual close, trial balance and balance sheet review, P&L analysis, consolidation. The Financial Controller owns monthly closing, the chart of accounts, balance sheet integrity, P&L and accruals precision, management reporting and audit delivery across a multi-entity environment.

Lead the monthly and annual financial close across all Group entities,

ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with the Group closing calendar

• Trial balance and balance sheet review: review the trial balance each period, perform
• balance sheet reconciliations and period-on-period balance sheet comparison, and
• investigate and resolve variances and unreconciled items
• P&L analysis: analyse results by entity, division and project, explaining revenue, margin and
• cost movements against prior periods and budget.
• Prepare and review the Group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliation and elimination of intercompany balances, transactions and unrealised profits.
• Statutory reporting: prepare statutory financial statements for all Group entities in
• accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements
• Management reporting: prepare management reports including actual vs budget and
• forecast analysis, KPI reporting and commentary for senior management and the Board
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors for interim and annual
• audits, managing audit planning, audit queries and resolution of audit
• findings.
