Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join the FP&A team in Dubai. You will lead monthly MIS reporting, drive planning and budgeting, and provide strategic commercial insight to leadership across business units.

Qualified CA/CPA/CMA/CIMA with 5+ years post-qualification experience in core FP&A, including UAE exposure, is required. Proficiency in Excel, MIS, BI and consolidation is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our FP&A team in Dubai, reporting to the FP&A Manager. In this role, you will lead the preparation and analysis of management reporting, drive the planning and budgeting cycle, and deliver the commercial insight that shapes leadership decisions across our business units - an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives on turning data into strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

Management reporting and MIS

• Own the timely end-to-end preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly MIS reports, providing leadership with actionable financial and operational insight.
• Conduct a detailed monthly review of business-unit P&Ls to pinpoint critical variances and assess their cumulative impact on year-to-date performance.
• Oversee the monthly administration, maintenance and performance optimisation of BI platforms and EPM systems to safeguard data integrity and ensure seamless reporting cycles.

Planning and budgeting

• Support the Finance Business Partner for the respective business unit through the annual planning and budgeting exercise.
• Validate budget submissions for completeness, numerical accuracy and alignment with strategic corporate objectives.

Business partnering and analysis

• Provide financial analysis and support to business partners on key initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Support the FP&A team in identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Participate in ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.

Process improvement

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Essential requirements

• Qualified CA/ CPA/ CMA or CIMA.
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in core FP&A, of which at least 2–3 years must be in the UAE. Experience gained in accounting, audit or compliance roles will not be counted towards this requirement.
• Demonstrated capability in planning and budgeting, financial modelling, feasibility review, MIS and consolidation, and advanced Excel.
• Industry background in FMCG, retail or contracting.

Preferred (considered an advantage)

• Oracle Hyperion experience (HFM, EPM or EPBCS).
• Qlik or Power BI experience.
• Experience within a UAE-based conglomerate or multi-vertical group.
• Team management experience.
