Responsibilities

• Extract financial reports and create monthly MIS for SBU/Sub-SBU stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly Financial & Business Review packs for senior leadership.
• Gather insights on collections/payments and manage cash flow uploads into Anaplan.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests from Group Finance or contracting management.
• Engage with business heads to build the annual budget and 3-year plan in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Support quarterly forecasts and inform stakeholders of final P&L numbers by SBU.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and scrutinize overheads at GL level.
• Participate in monthly cash forecast meetings and HR manpower reporting.
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency.

Overview Of The Role

The FP&A Manager is pivotal in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting for regional operations. Based in Dubai, the role involves contributing to building budgets and quarterly forecasts, enabling performance insights, and supporting senior leadership in data-driven decision making. The FP&A Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure financial strategies align with organizational goals. Success in this role demands strong analytical skills, effective stakeholder communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in financial processes.

What You Will Do

Monthly MIS

• Extract financial reports from various sources to create meaningful monthly Flash Performance Reports for SBU/Sub-SBU level stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly Financial & Business Review packs for senior leadership within the Contracting division and Group Finance.
• Gather insights on collection and payments from respective businesses and manage monthly cash flow uploads into Anaplan.
• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests from Group Finance or internal Al Futtaim Contracting management.

Budget & Forecasts

• Engage with business and functional heads in building the annual Budget & 3-year financial plan, ensuring timely uploads into SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Support FP&A lead with collating quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with group-guidelines, and submission into SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Inform relevant stakeholders of final Budget & forecast P&L for their SBUs, monitor progress, and highlight indicators of lagging revenue or cost-overruns.

Financial Analysis

• Conduct monthly variance analysis for each LOB, recommending adjustments where warranted.
• Analyze overheads at GL level to highlight anomalies and unbudgeted spends.
• Understand business operations and project performance to identify instances of over/under spending.

Business Support

• Participate in monthly cash forecast meetings with business and Group treasury teams, closing observations within defined timelines.
• Support HR by enabling monthly Manpower cost reports and generating relevant insights.
• Collaborate with the Finance team in meeting Group Reporting requirements.

AI & Automation

• Identify potential areas for automation to enhance efficiency and optimize costs.
• Participate in Group-led AI trainings and implement learnings in day-to-day operations.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with stakeholder management ability.
• Time management and prioritization skills, with agility in learning and adaptability.

What Qualifies You For The Role

• Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting (e.g., CA, ACCA, CFA).
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Contracting industry.
• Experience with ERP Financial Software such as SAP and SAC is advantageous.
• Regional work experience is a plus.
