FRAMECAD is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Service Technician to join our team.

What you will be doing

You will provide the highest level of technical support and hands-on assistance to customers and team members. This ensures prompt resolution of technical issues with our machines and software in the field, minimizing downtime and optimizing customer success. Your role involves delivering outstanding field service technical excellence, independently resolving complex issues, and ensuring a safe and positive outcome for customers. This position is based in Dubai, with regular travel to regional customers, often spending time away from home.

What we are looking for

This role requires a strong customer-centric approach. You should be a competent and experienced service technician comfortable working with industrial machinery, liaising with various stakeholders including customers, customs, logistics, and internal teams to deliver exceptional end-to-end service. Attention to detail, continuous improvement mindset, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Skills and Experience

• Regional Lead Field Service Technician supporting customers, ideally in technology or construction industries.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in a regionally dispersed area.
• Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
• Experience in training and knowledge transfer to technical field staff and customers.
• Leadership or significant contribution to a business or function with complex external customer needs.
• Customer obsession (focused isn’t enough for this role).
• Networking and influencing skills, with an understanding of change management and buy-in.
• Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer education and hosting.
• Strong commercial business acumen.
• Attention to detail, efficiency, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to have

Relevant regional qualification, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification.
