Job summary
GDIT is seeking a senior health informatics leader in Dubai to define the technical direction for digital quality measures (dQMs) across federal reporting programs. You will coordinate CQL, FHIR, and interoperability work with CMS stakeholders from our Dubai-based team.
The role requires strong communication skills and a track record delivering QI-Core and US Core aligned implementations, mentoring staff, and managing long-cycle programs.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in health informatics or related field.
- 11+ years of relevant experience.
- 7+ years in healthcare quality measurement with hands-on authoring of QDM-based eCQMs and FHIR-based dQMs.
- Working knowledge of FHIR resources and implementation guides such as US Core, QI-Core, and DEQM.
- Familiarity with the CMS measure lifecycle.
- Experience on federal contracts (preferably CMS).
- HL7 FHIR certification preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact with CMS and federal stakeholders for digital quality measurement, FHIR, QI-Core, CQL, and interoperability topics.
- Define and manage the technical direction for dQM specification across federal quality reporting program structures.
- Lead translation of traditional measures into FHIR-based dQMs.
- Direct activities spanning concept development, specification authoring, CQL and value set management, testing/validation, and annual program maintenance cycles.
- Mentor and guide junior, mid, and senior-level technical and clinical staff.
