Job summary

American Hospital Dubai seeks an experienced Imaging Informatics leader to oversee PACS, RIS, VNA, and related imaging platforms. You will define standards, governance, and roadmaps in collaboration with radiology and clinical teams, ensuring safe, standardized workflows and high availability.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and deep knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and IHE integration, with a focus on data integrity, security, and regulatory alignment across DHA/NABIDH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Informatics, Medical Imaging, or related field.
• 5+ years in imaging informatics, PACS/RIS administration, or related IT in healthcare.
• Experience implementing and maintaining enterprise PACS, RIS, VNA, image exchange, and imaging-workflow solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leads imaging systems governance, standards, and roadmaps aligned with clinical priorities.
• Collaborates with radiologists and clinicians to optimize workflows across imaging modalities.
• Oversees integration between EMR, PACS, RIS, and external exchanges; ensures data integrity and security.
• Manages vendor relationships, budgeting, and lifecycle planning for imaging IT.
