Job summary

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager / Engineer to oversee building operations maintenance activities and technical systems across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MEP/HVAC systems proven leadership experience and the ability to manage vendors and maintenance teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations & Maintenance

• Manage daily operations of MEP HVAC and building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance safety and optimal performance.
• Monitor and optimize energy usage through BMS (Building Management Systems).

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system failures and equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

Projects & Renovations

• Support renovation upgrade and retrofit projects from planning to execution.
• Review technical drawings schematics and system specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure quality and safety standards.

Health Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes fire safety regulations and HSE standards.
• Conduct safety inspections risk assessments and support emergency response planning.
• Provide training on safety procedures and equipment handling when required.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Supervise outsourced service providers including maintenance cleaning pest control landscaping and elevators.
• Track contractor performance and ensure KPI and SLA compliance.
• Assist with procurement vendor evaluations and quotation reviews.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare facility reports incident logs and maintenance summaries.
• Maintain technical documents including as-built drawings manuals and certifications.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• 35 years of UAE experience in Facilities Management.
