Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a proactive Design/Engineering Supervisor to manage daily design and maintenance activities within a luxury resort environment in Dubai. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure top-tier facility standards and timely response to issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory role in a 5-star hotel/resort environment.
• Mechanical or Electric diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience working under time pressure.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily design/maintenance activities.
• Interact with AMC partners and suppliers.
• Ensure building upkeep and order.
• Conduct regular site visits and respond quickly to issues.
• Oversee and guide daily activities of the Design/Engineering Department.
• Monitor procurement and compare quotes for value.
• Obtain essential authorizations.
• Inspect completed repairs and maintenance to ensure standards are met.
• Assist in planning and overseeing preventive maintenance and job orders.
• Adhere to all relevant Design/Engineering division policies and procedures.
