Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. in Dubai seeks a Senior Expeditor to lead expediting across procurement, fabrication and logistics for high‑profile subsea projects. You will supervise a team, identify delivery gaps and drive corrective actions to meet project timelines.

The role requires deep expediting knowledge, strong communication with suppliers and internal teams, and the ability to manage complex packages with interdependencies while maintaining project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in SCM or equivalent; six years of relevant experience.
• Experience expediting supplier documentation and major equipment.
• Knowledge of procurement and logistics lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate with procurement and non-procurement personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team to identify supplier performance gaps and delays.
• Execute expediting strategy and track movement of project materials.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Package Management for timely status.
• Support supplier performance reviews and manage expediting reports.
• Communicate with procurement, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensure expediting issues are coordinated across departments to meet deadlines.
