As a Senior Planning Executive, you will be instrumental in leading the development and execution of comprehensive media plans across various platforms. You will leverage industry-leading tools and technologies to analyze market trends and audience insights, creating strategies that deliver impactful results. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality media planning and seamless execution, while also managing project timelines and objectives. In addition to supporting business growth, you will mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
A Typical Day Will Include
- Reviewing ongoing media campaigns and aligning with the team to identify updates, adjustments, or performance optimizations.
- Engaging directly with clients to understand their goals and share progress, performance insights, and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborating with creative and digital teams to ensure media plans are executed effectively, and adjustments are made when necessary.
- Developing new media strategies based on research and insights, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing campaign effectiveness.
- Analyzing performance data, using tools such as Google Analytics and planning tools, to monitor campaign delivery and optimize performance.
- Creating reports and presentations that summarize campaign outcomes, insights, and suggestions for next steps for clients.
- Managing client relationships, handling expectations, and ensuring overall satisfaction with the media planning process.
- Mentoring junior planning executives, providing feedback, and supporting their growth and development within the team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in media planning or strategy, with a focus on both digital and traditional media.
- Strong proficiency in media planning and research tools (e.g., OP TV, CWEB, Optinet, Google Analytics, TGI, Brand Index, etc.).
- Experience in developing and presenting media strategies and reports to clients and internal teams.
- Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and campaign optimization.
- A solid understanding of the media landscape, including both traditional and digital channels.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
