Job Purpose
To maintain corporate statistical information at all times, analyze data sets, identify trends and insights, and deliver actionable recommendations that support strategic planning, operational efficiency, and performance monitoring across the organization. To support data-driven decision-making by developing, maintaining, and optimizing business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports.
Business Analysis
- Manage and maintain corporate statistical information and facts and figures on a monthly basis.
- Analyze commercial data such as sales results and forecasts and highlight critical trends for the business to improve performance.
- Design and maintain dashboards, extracting and analyzing data from multiple sources, and generating actionable business recommendations
- Identify and review data metrics in collaboration with concerned stakeholders (internal & external).
- Carry out fact-based analysis, and quantitative and qualitative reporting, to draw useful business insights to enable stakeholders in decision making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements and translate them into analytics solutions and system enhancements working closely with IT for implementation.
Data Quality and Analysis
- Work closely with the Data Quality (DQ) and governance team to proactively monitor DQ issues based on approved business rules.
- Increase the DQ score in specific datasets related to business, leads, customers and financial information.
- Focus on data governance solutions and evaluate data using specified tools, methodologies and formats.
- Work closely with the Data Quality (DQ) and governance team to detail-out and update Business Intelligence use cases and ensure business gets to explore and visualize data from various applications.
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Operational Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting activities and hence improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Data Quality (DQ) and governance team to setup the governance mechanisms for master data and metadata management.
- Develop, along with the Data Quality (DQ) and governance team, the Business Glossary Portal with defined and approved business logic.
- Analyze the behavioral and transactional data from customers to retain them, cross-sell and upsell products and services.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Computing, or related field.
- Certification in Data Analysis or Business Analytics is highly preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- English language required (advanced)
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge about CRM systems such as Salesforce is preferred.
