Job summary

EV Brand Corporation in Dubai is seeking an Electric Vehicle Diagnostic Technician responsible for inspection, diagnosis and repair of EV systems using advanced diagnostic tools and a Fix It Right approach. You will identify faults and perform preventative maintenance to uphold OEM standards.

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will mentor workshop technicians, document work clearly for Service Advisors and customers, and contribute to safety and process improvements in a busy EV workshop.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of high and low voltage EV components and systems.
• Master Technician certification or equivalent.
• Ability to coach and guide workshop teammates.
• Familiarity with latest EV technologies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex faults in EV systems and perform preventative maintenance.
• Mentor and guide other workshop technicians on diagnostic procedures.
• Deliver high-quality work with minimal need for returns.
• Document work clearly for service advisors, tech support, and customers.
• Suggest improvements to workshop processes, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare EVs for junior technicians and ensure safety standards.
• Provide technical input to parts staff for accurate parts identification.
• Collaborate with HSSE to maintain a safe workshop environment.
