Job summary

Roberts Co is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and tender activities across UAE projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality and healthcare sectors.

You will manage cost planning, take-offs, pricing, and subcontractor analysis, while mentoring junior estimators. The role is based between the Dubai office and project sites across the UAE, offering a clear path for growth within a growing contracting group.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline; MRICS is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years' estimating experience, including at least 5 years with a Tier 1 contractor in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of POMI, NRM, FIDIC and UAE market rates.
• Established knowledge of local subcontractors and suppliers.
• Proficiency in CostX or equivalent estimating software, along with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and attention to detail.

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and first-principles rate build-ups.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries, including quotation analysis and bid levelling.

About the role

The Senior Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction and tendering of projects across the UAE, including major residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and healthcare projects. You will lead estimating activities from cost planning through to final bid, including quantity take-offs, BOQs, pricing, subcontractor and supplier analysis, preliminaries and tender qualifications, whilst contributing to the continued growth of our estimating function.

This is a full-time position, based between our office in Dubai Festival City, and project sites across the UAE.
