Job summary

Freedom Broker Global Markets in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior Equity Research Analyst to join our Equity Research team. You will own coverage of UAE-listed companies, develop evidence-based investment recommendations, and produce professional research distributed to global platforms.

You will work with U.S.-based experts and adhere to UAE CMA regulations, contributing to global best practices and Shariah-compliant considerations where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant equity research experience.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Strong knowledge of UAE market and regulatory environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic a plus.

Freedom Broker Global Markets is part of Freedom Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: FRHC), a diversified international financial services group. Building on its successful presence in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the Group is expanding its footprint in the UAE through the establishment of a new mainland brokerage licensed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The broker is currently completing the licensing process with CMA. The company will provide access to a broad range of global financial products and investment services while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence, regulatory compliance, client service, and risk management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Equity Research Analyst to join our Equity Research team in Abu Dhabi and support the continued development of our new CMA-regulated brokerage. Our analysts cover 350+ U.S.-listed equities, and our research is distributed through Bloomberg and other leading financial platforms. This is a senior research position for an experienced investment professional with strong expertise in fundamental analysis, financial modelling and company valuation. You will take ownership of company and sector coverage, develop evidence-based investment recommendations, and produce high-quality research for a professional and international audience. Our research platform covers more than 350 U.S.-listed equities, with research distributed through Bloomberg and other leading financial platforms. You will also collaborate with U.S.-based experts with more than 20 years of experience at leading Wall Street investment banks, providing exposure to international research standards and global best practices.

As this position forms part of our regulated UAE mainland brokerage activities, candidates must hold the required UAE Financial Rules and Regulations and International Certification in Wealth and Investment Management (Level 3) qualifications. You will also collaborate closely with U.S.-based experts who bring 20+ years of experience at leading Wall Street investment banks, gaining direct exposure to institutional research standards, sector expertise, and global best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fundamental research on UAE-listed companies within your sector
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and valuation frameworks
• Develop clear, evidence-based investment recommendations
• Monitor industry trends, company catalysts, and relevant macroeconomic factors
• Engage with company management and investor relations teams
• Participate in earnings calls, investor events, and expert discussions
• Present investment ideas to internal stakeholders and contribute commentary to financial media
• Mentor junior analysts and help strengthen research quality across the team
• Help integrate Shariah-compliant metrics into the valuation process
• Build research that reaches a global professional audience
• Know and comply with the Company's internal policies, procedures, regulations, and other governing documents related to both the Company's operations as a whole
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, methodological guidelines, and technical standards relevant to the role
• Any other ad hoc tasks related to the role and responsibilities set out in this Job

Candidate Requirements

• UAE Financial Rules and Regulations is essential
• International Certification in Wealth and Investment Management (Level 3) is essential
• 5+ years of relevant experience in equity research, investment analysis, or investment
• Strong expertise in the U.A.E. market
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and accounting skills
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS
• Advanced written and spoken English. Fluent Arabic is a huge plus
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Experience with Bloomberg and/or FactSet is preferred
• CFA Program participation or a PhD is an advantage
