Job summary

Novellia is seeking a senior leader to drive real-world evidence studies, leveraging diverse data sources (EHR, claims, registries) and advanced causal inference methods. You will mentor researchers, collaborate with pharma clients, and contribute to scientific communications.

The ideal candidate holds a Master or PhD in epidemiology or related fields with 7+ years of RWE experience, and demonstrates an AI-forward mindset and strong publication record.

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of RWE research experience in a pharma services, CRO, or health tech setting.
• Deep familiarity with real-world data sources (EHR, claims, registries) and core study designs.
• Experience engaging directly with pharma clients across medical affairs, HEOR, and clinical development.
• Strong command of causal inference methods (propensity score methods, IPTW, G-computation).
• AI-forward mindset with active use of AI tools for scientific productivity.
• Published track record at conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of real-world evidence studies across natural history, comparative effectiveness, HEOR, treatment patterns, and external control arms.
• Partner with the commercial team on client and business development calls and execution of client-facing data and analytics services deliverables.
• Leverage AI tools to drive efficiency across the research workflow, from protocol structuring to output generation.
• Design and operationalize the plan to scale the research team, including headcount growth and SOPs.
• Collaborate closely with the data team on end-to-end delivery and mentor future scientific hires.
• Contribute to publications, conference presentations, and other scientific communications.
