Job summary

Freenome is a biotechnology company focused on developing early cancer detection tests. We are seeking a senior leader to drive evidence generation across clinical, regulatory, market access, and commercial priorities in a global context.

You will identify evidence gaps, translate them into research questions and analysis plans, and lead real-world studies, publications, and presentations with internal and external collaborators. Strong leadership in a matrixed organization is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in medicine, science, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated evidence plans aligned with clinical, regulatory, market-access, and commercial priorities.
• Identify evidence gaps and translate them into research questions, study concepts, and analysis plans.
• Lead post hoc analyses, real-world evidence, registry studies, and investigator-sponsored research.
• Oversee manuscripts, abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and other scientific materials.
• Partner with internal authors, external investigators, medical writers, and statisticians.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and research meetings.
• Ensure adherence to publication standards and ethical guidelines including GPP and ICMJE.

Education

MS or PhD in medicine, science, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or pharmacy

• Ensure adherence to publication standards and ethical guidelines including GPP and ICMJE

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in medicine, science, public health, epidemiology, health economics, or pharmacy
• 10+ years of relevant diagnostics, medical device, or healthcare experience
• Demonstrated experience leading evidence generation and publication strategies
• Strong knowledge of clinical research, real-world evidence, epidemiology, and biostatistics
• Experience authoring and supervising scientific manuscripts and presentations
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in oncology, cancer screening, molecular diagnostics, or genomics
• Experience supporting diagnostic products through development and regulatory review
• Experience with real-world data, health economics, or implementation science
• Prior people-management experience
