About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead complex environmental projects, provide strategic guidance, and mentor multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on marine and coastal environments.

The project involves a high-end hospitality development across a Middle East archipelago.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental impact assessments (EIA), strategic environmental assessments (SEA), and sustainability appraisals across various sectors.
• Perform ecological field surveys for coastal and marine habitat projects, including restoration and environmental monitoring.
• Serve as a technical advisor for marine consultancy projects focusing on impact assessments, baseline surveys, and nature-based solutions.
• Develop remediation strategies and mitigation measures for environmental impacts.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to obtain permits and ensure legislative compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of relevant environmental consulting experience.
• Degree in environmental engineering or a related science discipline.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing environmental qualities such as water, sediment, soil, and air quality.
• Experience with ecology, biodiversity, and climate change-related projects.
• Proficiency with environmental modeling software, GIS, and remote sensing technologies.
