  • Combine hands-on technical engagement with strategic oversight to ensure that architecture practices directly support IDO’s operational and long-term objectives.
  • Position the EA function as a strategic enabler, bridging technical implementation with organizational strategy, while promoting efficiency and innovation.

Solution Architecture and Review:

  • Act as the primary Solution Architect for significant initiatives across IDO portfolio companies, defining solution designs that address business needs while aligning with IDO’s enterprise architecture principles.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of portfolio companies' enterprise architecture, providing recommendations to address gaps, improve scalability, and ensure alignment with IDO’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and harmonization across portfolio companies' technology landscapes, ensuring economies of scale and reducing redundancy in technology investments.
  • Work closely with portfolio company IT and business leaders to provide advisory support on technology strategy, architectural decisions, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Ensure portfolio companies' architectures adhere to regulatory and industry standards while maintaining flexibility to adapt to evolving business requirements.
  • Monitor the implementation of architectural recommendations to ensure they drive measurable business outcomes and foster operational excellence.
  • Maintain the architectural maturity across portfolio companies, providing structured reports to track alignment with IDO’s goals and enterprise architecture framework.

Technology Assessment and Experimentation:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of existing tools, technologies, infrastructure, and applications to identify gaps and areas for optimization across the portfolio.
  • Implement and lead hands-on experiments with emerging technologies to assess their relevance and impact on current operations, ensuring that viable innovations align with IDO’s goals.
  • Maintain a portfolio-wide view of technology capabilities, continually assessing their alignment with strategic objectives and operational readiness.

Cost Management and Harmonization:

  • Identify and drive opportunities for cost management and harmonization across portfolio companies, ensuring that architecture decisions maximize value and benefit from economies of scale.
  • Provide architectural guidance that promotes a lean, efficient approach to technology investments, optimizing resources and minimizing redundancies within the portfolio.
  • Evaluate technologies and platforms that align with IDO’s financial goals, contributing to a balanced approach to operational excellence and cost-effectiveness.

Strategy and Governance:

  • Define and enforce architecture standards, principles, and governance frameworks that incorporate relevant industry best practices, ensuring alignment with IDO’s operational model.
  • Establish a governance structure that balances compliance with flexibility, maintaining adherence to essential industry standards without sacrificing adaptability.
  • Ensure all architectural frameworks support best practices for regulatory compliance across the portfolio, integrating them as required to strengthen operational resilience.

Provider and Technology Solution Evaluation:

  • Manage the selection and evaluation of technology solutions and providers to ensure they meet the portfolio's strategic needs and quality standards.
  • Align provider and solution selection with EA principles, ensuring consistency across the portfolio and optimizing long-term value and performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement:

  • Act as an advisor to business and technology leaders across portfolio companies, offering hands-on support and strategic guidance to drive alignment between architecture and business goals.
  • Foster collaborative, cross-functional relationships to unify business and IT perspectives, ensuring that technology decisions reflect broader organizational priorities.
  • Work closely with product managers, business leaders, and IT teams to communicate the EA’s value and secure alignment on technology roadmaps.

Orchestrating Business Outcomes and Solution Delivery:

  • Ensure architecture planning and execution deliver measurable business outcomes, balancing short-term solutions with long-term strategic direction.
  • Provide diagnostic insights, investment roadmaps, and architectural models that directly support decision-making, operational efficiency, and alignment with IDO’s business goals.
  • Identify and recommend solutions that address gaps in the current and future-state IT environments, ensuring the architecture remains adaptable to evolving business needs.

Qualification & Experience:
