Job summary

alfanar Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Marketing in Dubai to blend electrical engineering know-how with strategic marketing. You will support market research, technical marketing activities, and business development, promoting our electrical products to customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.

The role covers market expansion, planning, budget oversight, and performance analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
6–10 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong understanding of marketing and business development principles.
Knowledge of advertising concepts, brand development, and competitive analysis.
Experience with customer relationship marketing and marketing programs.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

Represent the Marketing Department at exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and industry events.
Promote the company’s products, services, and brand to customers and industry stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, distributors, business partners, and potential customers.
Support product presentations, technical seminars, and customer training programs.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities and changes in regional and international markets.
Analyze market information and prepare reports to support business and marketing decisions.
Identify potential market risks and recommend suitable strategies.
Evaluate potential new markets and support feasibility studies for market expansion.
Identify potential distributors, agents, and strategic business partners.
Assist in developing market-entry and go-to-market strategies.
Support initiatives designed to increase product awareness and market penetration.
Assist in preparing and managing annual marketing budgets.
Develop marketing plans and schedules for different markets and promotional activities.
Monitor marketing expenses and prepare budget variance reports.
Ensure marketing resources are used effectively and efficiently.
Provide technical marketing support to customers and distributors.
Prepare and deliver product presentations and technical training.
Support the development of marketing materials, product content, and promotional campaigns.
Communicate technical product information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Establish and monitor KPIs for marketing activities and campaigns.
Evaluate the effectiveness of exhibitions, seminars, campaigns, and market-entry initiatives.
Prepare regular reports covering marketing performance, challenges, achievements, and recommendations.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in marketing processes.
