Senior Engineer - EECE
Department: Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering
Role Purpose
Lead cross-functional engineering teams in the development, integration, and qualification of RF systems, power electronics, embedded systems, software, and AI solutions. Drive innovation through system-level design, testing, and validation. Ensure technical excellence, project alignment, and high-impact delivery across advanced industrial and defense technologies.
- Key Accountabilities Technical Leadership - Guide hardware/firmware design teams, ensuring compliance with international standards and qualification requirements.
- Design Reviews - Organize and chair multidisciplinary reviews; enforce MIL-STD, IEEE/IEC, DO-178C, and best engineering practices.
- System Architecture - Define system requirements and integrate RF, digital hardware, AI, and embedded control into unified product platforms.
- Hardware Development - Lead simulation, testing, and qualification of power electronics, RF systems, and high-speed digital hardware.
- Embedded Software - Oversee firmware/software lifecycle from requirements to verification, ensuring maintainability and certification compliance.
- AI/ML Integration - Design and integrate AI/ML/CV/NLP solutions for real-time analytics, automation, and intelligent decision-making.
- R&D Innovation - Lead advanced R&D initiatives and promote MBSE and emerging technologies.
- Documentation - Ensure traceable, complete technical documentation across hardware and software domains.
- Mentorship - Coach junior engineers and drive capability development.
- Strategic Planning - Support technology roadmaps, resource planning, recruitment, and budget alignment.
Experience
8+ years in technical project management or embedded electronics development within defense/aerospace, ideally missile systems.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience delivering electronics sub-assemblies or complex systems across full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of missile/weapon system development and production.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, regulated environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- PMP certification desirable.
- Knowledge of hardware, firmware, integration, qualification, V&V, and production transition.
- Familiarity with configuration management, technical reviews, milestones, and documentation in regulated environments.
