Qualifications

• 15+ years of QA / QC experience in painting and coating on major oil & gas projects.
• Certified Coating Inspector (e.g., NACE Level II or III / BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2 or 3).
• Strong knowledge of international standards (NACE, SSPC, ISO, ASTM, etc.).

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA / QC Engineer – Painting & Coating to oversee and manage coating and painting quality activities on oil & gas construction projects. The role involves inspection, documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and inspect painting and coating works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Review and approve painting / coating procedures, materials, and contractor qualifications.

Conduct surface preparation and coating inspections (e.g., DFT, adhesion, holiday testing).

Ensure all works are carried out as per project ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans).

Maintain QA / QC documentation and prepare inspection reports.

Coordinate with construction, clients, and third-party inspectors.

Identify and report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.

Support audits and final project handover documentation.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related).

15+ years of QA / QC experience in painting and coating on major oil & gas projects (onshore / offshore).

Certified Coating Inspector (e.g., NACE Level II or III / BGAS-CSWIP Grade 2 or 3).

Strong knowledge of international standards (NACE, SSPC, ISO, ASTM, etc.).

Familiar with coating systems for tanks, pipelines, structures, and facilities.

Excellent communication, documentation, and team coordination skills.
