Job summary

TalentOne invites applications for a senior role leading preservation activities in oil & gas construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will supervise Preservation Engineers, manage the preservation program from receipt to handover, and coordinate with Client, Vendors, Subcontractors, Construction, QA/QC and Commissioning teams.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential. Required 7–12+ years’ international E&C experience, with at least 5 years on-site in oil & gas

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7–12+ years’ experience with an international E&C/construction company.
• Minimum 5 years’ site experience in Oil & Gas preservation.
• Proven experience managing preservation of project equipment and materials.
• Experience with Systems Completion / electronic database management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project preservation activities from receipt through commissioning and handover.
• Lead Preservation Engineers and monitor preservation activities, KPIs and status reporting.
• Coordinate with Client, Vendors, Subcontractors, Construction, QA/QC and Commissioning teams.
• Review and approve subcontractor clean-build and preservation plans.
• Develop and implement preservation checklists, P-ITRs and inspection records for critical equipment.
• Coordinate preservation records in electronic systems and completion database.
• Conduct regular site/yard walkthroughs and inspections, identify findings and drive timely close-out.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex preservation and cleanliness issues.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements and applicable industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the project preservation program fromequipment/material receipt through commissioning and handover.
