About the opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Vendor Tech vertical, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional experiences. As a member of our Vendor Team, you will drive the success of thousands of restaurants, shops, and local businesses by developing advanced tools to manage their operations, enhance visibility, and expand their reach. Your work will foster growth opportunities for businesses of all sizes, strengthening Delivery Hero’s ecosystem.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, such as product and interface development.
2. Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality.
3. Troubleshoot issues, analyze complex problems, and implement timely solutions.
4. Design and develop features to optimize the vendor experience.
5. Implement and maintain scalable, reliable systems capable of handling migrations and high request volumes.
6. Monitor and optimize system performance using technical and business metrics.
7. Develop and maintain high-traffic services and APIs supporting core functions.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience with Golang/Java, focusing on distributed systems and large-scale applications.
• User-centric approach with a focus on building high-quality products.
• Experience with cloud hosting on AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm).
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Drone, and Spinnaker.
