Job description

Job Purpose

Support Assets' Operations in the implementation of Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) requirements throughout the life cycle of assigned assets. Report the progress of such implementation. Act as custodian of all AIMS processes and documents related to assigned asset's operations. Contributes with other departments on matters related to revamping and or upgrading of static equipment and corrosion control systems for the new and/or old facilities

Job Specific Accountabilities

• Coordinates and implements all corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programs within the approved budget in order to ensure the integrity of all the static equipment at work.
• Ensures that all technical aspects related to corrosion & quality control management and integrity assessment are undertaken in conformance with company standards and / or industry codes of practice.
• Ensures that all maintenance/ repair plans to all static equipment and pipelines are performed in accordance with industry best practice, quality and HSE standards.
• Coordinates with the respective operation departments to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and operability within the design envelop.
• Issues integrity reports to the "Asset Holder" on inspection and corrosion findings and recommendations of mitigation plan and follows-up the timely implementation of mitigating actions and/or restoring the equipment conditions
• Ensures satisfactory implementation and evaluation of all chemical treatment programs formulated for internal corrosion control.
• Ensures updating the available data management systems with the inspection and corrosion findings of each equipment/facility and major problem areas are accurately and timely logged and identified.
• Supervises intelligent pipeline/facilities tool inspection, analyzes recorded data and plans necessary inspection/repair program.
• Provides technical support to the respective operations department on Corrosion / quality control, Corrosion prevention measures and inspection/ condition assessment aspects in order to ensure the fit for service condition of the respective assets.
• Carries out technical investigations regarding metallurgical failures/ deterioration static equipment and pipelines.
• Drive the implementation of the Annual Integrity Plan within the assigned asset, and keep respective management well informed of the progress status.
• Review reports related to integrity and track remedial actions to ensure all outstanding issues are captured in AIMS databases for mitigating solutions in timely manners. Communicate the analysis and trends of integrity threats to field involved parties and management.
• Participate in projects' technical reviews and pre-startup safety reviews to ensure that AIMS requirements are included, and facilities are ready for operation.
• Facilitate verification audits and failure investigations related to asset integrity, recommend remedial measures, and follow up on their implementation.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

8 years of experience in Integrity Assurance/ Metallurgy etc
