Job description

Key Accountabilities
  1. Manage low to high risk contracts, including governance, risk performance, and financial operations management.
  2. Develop contract drafts and procurement documentation, including contract management plans.
  3. Use procurement systems to maintain accurate contract records, including contract spend, contractor performance, risk, and outcomes.
  4. Monitor and report on contract performance against KPIs and requirements, undertaking corrective actions as needed.
  5. Conduct market research and apply findings to manage and inform contract decisions.
  6. Validate invoices and reports, ensuring payment schedules are met.
  7. Assess and prepare contract variations and exemption requests, making decisions based on risk.
  8. Prepare for and facilitate straightforward contract negotiations.
  9. Interpret contract requirements, terms, and conditions, ensuring all parties understand and fulfill their responsibilities.
  10. Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
  11. Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve routine contractual issues and escalate complex issues.
  12. Review and evaluate expiring contracts to inform future procurement strategy.
  13. Apply and advise on processes for exercising extension options, contract expiry, and transition management.
  14. Ensure compliance with government and agency disposal procedures.
  15. Develop documentation including contract services management plans aligned with organizational goals and legal requirements.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering or related field; Leadership and management certifications.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in a Telecom industry role involving Telecom Services; Performance understanding of telecom domains; Advanced understanding of contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and service monitoring; Proven experience in support contract execution management.
  • Skills: Leadership in large transformation projects; Team leadership; Strong negotiation and facilitation; Vendor management; Governance and financial management; Multicultural environment management; Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
