Job description

Job Purpose

The jobholder is responsible for providing DCS expertise in Instrumentation & Control Engineering to ensure the optimal operating condition of all respective equipment, supporting Borouge's operations and systems in line with original equipment manufacturer guidelines, engineering standards, and relevant ADNOC and international standards.

This role involves analyzing operational issues, suggesting design changes, configuring and implementing DCS modifications related to logics, graphics, hardware, and system interfaces to ensure safe plant operation. The role also includes maintaining backups for DCS systems, monitoring and improving system performance, conducting obsolescence studies, budgeting for maintenance, replacements, upgrades, and migrations, as well as designing and supporting ICS system improvements and mega projects.
