Responsibilities:
- Handle 1st and 2nd level support cases professionally and independently through all Service Operations Channels.
- Provide excellent, dedicated, and proactive support for VAS Business, Regulatory Affairs, and TDRA.
- Offer technical guidance and solutions to the Service Operations Center, Enterprise Customer Service, and Consumer Service Assurance teams.
- Collaborate with higher-tier support teams and perform live troubleshooting sessions for P1 & P2 cases.
- Deep understanding of Protocols L4 to L7; moderate understanding of L2-L3 protocols.
- Deep understanding of VOIP and VPN application behaviors, performance, trends, techniques, and detection intelligence.
- Knowledge of web content filtering products and their functions.
- Understanding of Deep Packet Inspection products and their functionalities.
- Conduct in-depth investigations on Internet applications and web content traffic.
- Manage lab and production environments, including testing and go-live processes.
- Expertise in change management, version control, software testing tools, and reporting tools.
- Plan and conduct testing, capture network/application traces, and report detailed observations to relevant points of contact.
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to monitor application service performance on EITC (du) network.
- Deep understanding of VOIP and VPN solutions/functions at enterprise and global levels.
- Thorough knowledge of mobile handset functionalities, OS, radio technologies, client-server communication, and test methodologies across fixed and mobile networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering or BSc in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science.
Experience:
- Experience with Deep Packet Inspection and web content filtering products.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Perl or Python.
- Experience with mobile application architecture, functional and performance testing, and application analysis.
Skills:
- Deep Packet Inspection, advanced firewalls, web content filtering, IPS, IDS.
- Knowledge of OS, VOIP/VPN protocols, client-server architecture.
- Expertise in mobile handsets, including radio technologies, device performance, and updates.
- Computer networking, including routers and switches setup and configuration.
