Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Refining is seeking a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to support strategic capital projects in Abu Dhabi. You will provide technical guidance, act as SME for civil discipline, and ensure best practices across project phases.

The role requires 8+ years in the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry, strong technical and communication skills, and knowledge of structural analysis tools/software.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years in Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of structural analysis tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for civil discipline across project phases.
• Review civil, structural, and architectural documents across project phases.
• Conduct gap analysis for ADNOC Group Engineering Standards (AGES).
• Provide technical support through the Technical Authority framework.
• Troubleshoot plant issues related to structures, foundations, and underground services.
• Evaluate design changes, cost optimization, and value improvement proposals.
• Review technical bids and pre-qualification of vendors and consultants.
• Contribute to budgets, performance management, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and sustainability guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise
