EDGE/ADVANCED CONCEPTS within ADVANCED CONCEPTS develops high-technology autonomous systems, including RF and embedded solutions. The role focuses on implementing OSI layers, developing embedded software for RF systems, and building Linux drivers for custom hardware.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, and experience with ARM Cortex-M and RTOS on microcontrollers. Collaboration across teams and mentoring juniors are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electronics or software engineering.
• 8+ years of embedded software engineering experience with C/C++ and assembler.
• Strong knowledge of OSI model PHY/L1 and L2.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M architectures and Linux driver development.
• RTOS experience on microcontrollers and bare-metal firmware.
• I2C, UART, SPI, CAN protocols in Linux and microcontrollers.

Responsibilities

• Implement OSI PHY/layer 1 and layer 2 radio for MCUs or FPGAs.
• Develop embedded software for RF systems, including data-link signal processing.
• Write device drivers and low-level software for RF chipsets.
• Develop bare-metal firmware for ARM Cortex-M MCUs.
• Integrate I2C/UART/SPI/CAN and ETH in Linux and MCU environments.
• Develop Linux drivers and kernel modules for custom hardware.
• Design and generate Board Support Packages and Linux images (Yocto/FreeRTOS).
• Review code, ensure quality and adhere to coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
