A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking an experienced electrical technician to manage the maintenance and repair of various electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with at least two years of experience and a relevant trade certificate. This is a full-time position, and the company assists with visa processes and provides accommodations and flights.

Job description

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Repair, maintain, and install work according to departmental procedures.
• Maintenance of control panels.
• Troubleshoot control circuits.
• Install wiring, conduct trunking wiring accessories.
• Exposure to BMS & repair of kitchen equipment is an added qualification.
• Maintenance of chillers, freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils, and cold rooms.
• Complete requests in a timely, accurate, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.

Qualifications:

• High level of knowledge and skill in electrical work.
• Minimum 2 years of schooling certificate in Electrical Trade.
• At least two years of experience in a similar position with a trade certificate in Electricals.
• Ability to repair and maintain electrical AC, air handling units, PLC, BMS.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment.
• Proficiency in the above areas and a good foundation in all other relevant areas.

Physical Aspects of Position:

• Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Lifting and carrying.
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
