Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Electrical) to lead a high-profile electrical regulatory programme in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on governance, coordination, technical oversight and stakeholder engagement rather than design.

You will act as the primary interface between client stakeholders and technical contributors, ensuring updates and approvals are delivered in a structured, well-governed manner, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–15 years' experience in electrical regulations, standards, or authority-led programmes.
• Strong knowledge of AD EWR, BS 7671, DEWA and IEC standards.
• Proven ability to manage regulatory governance projects and engage senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of an electrical regulatory programme.
• Develop schedules, trackers, risk registers and reporting dashboards.
• Coordinate inputs from technical specialists, authorities and stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables meet client expectations with clear audit trails.
• Manage change control and programme risks with the client.
