Job summary

PeopleStrong in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Engineer to lead quality control on electrical installations for major power projects.

You will review drawings, perform inspections, and coordinate with site teams to ensure compliance with IEC/NEC/IEEE standards and project procedures. A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 9–15 years of experience is required, with a strong focus on documentation and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering.
• 9–15 years of QA/QC experience in electrical systems in construction or power projects.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE standards and local regulations.
• Experience in QA/QC documentation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Inspect and test electrical installations including cables, terminations, panels, transformers, switchgear, and lighting.
• Prepare ITPs, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants on quality issues.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation of test reports.
• Ensure safety standards during inspection and testing activities.
