Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer experienced in substation and overhead line construction supervision in the UAE. The ideal candidate will supervise installation activities, coordinate inspections, and ensure compliance with drawings and procedures on major transmission projects.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in substations, overhead lines, and power transmission construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects.
• Proven experience in substation and overhead transmission line projects.
• Knowledge of power transmission construction, inspection and testing.
• UAE project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation activities for substations and overhead lines.
• Monitor equipment installation and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and construction interfaces.
• Review installation procedures and quality documentation.
• Identify technical deviations and monitor corrective actions.
• Support pre-commissioning and handover activities.
