Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer (Design) to join our team, based in Dubai OR Abu Dhabi.

This position is responsible for leading electrical engineering projects within the design division.

Success in this role includes:

1. Overseeing the use of Autodesk Revit tools to present design and engineering solutions for all projects.
2. Providing leadership in research, planning, design, and development of building engineering systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, by guiding Level 1, 2, and 3 Engineers.
3. Supervising engineers to perform evaluations, feasibility studies, conceptual and final designs, cost estimates, and calculations.
4. Managing vendor contacts for services and equipment procurement.
5. Preparing and documenting calculations with references to codes and standards, ensuring proper filing for future access across offices.
6. Participating in coordination and progress meetings, presenting options and solutions.
7. Reviewing engineering options and evaluations to validate new products and designs.
8. Leading problem-solving efforts and encouraging innovation.
9. Ensuring QAQC procedures are followed and addressing review comments.
10. Obtaining project approvals from relevant authorities.
11. Mentoring and developing engineers working on projects.
12. Collaborating with the Director of MEP to ensure adequate project resources.
13. Managing activities within your field of responsibility.
14. Conducting initial design studies for specific problems.
15. Evaluating preliminary designs and calculations to meet requirements.
