Job summary

Oxypro Electromechanical Work LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support MEP projects in Abu Dhabi. You will design electrical systems, prepare load schedules, and manage design approvals with TAQA/ADDC authorities. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and tools like DIALux/ETAP/Hevacomp is essential.

The role requires 8–12 years of UAE electrical design experience, preferably with recent Abu Dhabi project exposure, and strong coordination with CAD/BIM teams and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–12 years UAE experience in electrical design within MEP contracting.
• Recent Abu Dhabi project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs, load schedules, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit calculations.
• Develop electrical layouts, shop drawings, lighting designs, and power distribution schematics.
• Manage TAQA/ADDC authority submissions, approvals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with MEP disciplines, CAD/BIM teams, consultants, and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and IEC/BS standards.
• Review specifications, support submittals, and provide design clarifications.
