Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Lead electrical design projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the successful implementation of electrical engineering solutions.
2. Participate in client and external parties meetings for design development of electrical components and systems, including creating detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
3. Act as the technical authority of projects and a focal point of reference for all project teams.
4. Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, and establish project schedules and budgets.
5. Conceptualize, design, and develop electrical systems, products, and components.
6. Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
7. Create and maintain detailed electrical design documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design calculations.
8. Monitor project costs and manage design budgets effectively.
9. Provide clear direction, set goals, and delegate tasks to team members while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
10. Ensure effective project communication, coordination, and timely completion.
11. Perform any other jobs as may be assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Extensive experience (10+ years) in electrical design engineering roles.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), simulation tools, and other relevant electrical design software.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of electrical principles and design methodologies.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and develop a team of engineers.
